This album evolved slowly over five years through a painstaking and meticulous process of crafting, honing and refining their compositions. Fang's gossamer atmospheres evolve and develop - gradually shifting, changing in texture, hue, density and sonority. Weingarten responded to Fang's soundscapes, not by adding melody, per se; instead he sought to complement Fang's thoughtful electronics by using the guitar as a kind of tone generator to thicken the plot, as it were.
